YOU CAN ALSO NOW FIGHT WITH CORRUPTION

Ramleela ground, a well known place in capital city of India has become most known place across the country. Baba Ramdev , a prominent yoga teacher is trying to dominate government by agitation which he named - against corruption and movement to bring back 'black' money. Media, another supporting actor of this story covered very sensational clips of people being beaten up by police at Ramleela Ground where Baba was protesting against government.
Now let's look at the real story-
Akhil Bhartiya Nagrik Parishad one of the head body of Rastriya Syamsevak Sangh (RSS) in its meeting at Karnataka during first week of April 2011 decide to setup Anti Corruption Front under leadership of Baba Ramdev.

During same period Anna Hazare came out with old tool of protest, Anshan to protest for reforms in Lokpal Bill. After one month i.e. in mid of May 2011 Akhil Bhartiya Vidhayarthi Parishad (ABVP) , a student body of RSS initiated Youth Against Corruption to support Baba's Anti Corruption front. At the end of May 2011 inspired by Anna's Gandhian way of protest Baba initiated process of huge powerful non violent protest at Ramleela Ground in capital.

Organizers booked ground under name of Yoga teaching camp for 4,000 people. When protest started there were more than 50,000 people. Administrators of ground restricted Baba's organizers allow these many people but organizers didn't agreed on it and they resisted. Administrators called up police, police did same, they asked Baba and his followers not do demonstration and vacate the ground. Baba refused to do so even after several warnings.

It was now decided to arrest Baba but Baba started shouting to its audience and his followers including women had friction with due to which 39 people got injured among which 2 got fractured and one was seriously injured. Media got good sensational feeds for their business; they compared it with jalianwala baug massacre. Our constitution allows us to do protest against anything we feel wrong but it should be against Law and order.

It is not that government is inactive in bringing back black money. As per our home minister and former finance minister, P.Chidambaram; Government has successfully acquired 18,000 Crore Rupees by Income tax raids. 12,050 crore Rupees by illegal income survey and 36,000 Crore Rupees from miss pricing. Within last 3 years.  People get 'wiser' when they loose office and gets 'more wiser' when they feel that they'll never get back that office and this makes them notorious.

As Indian PM rightly said "we are fighting against corruption but there is no magic wend". Of course there are weaknesses and shortcomings in process of government but that doesn't mean that Government is Inactive. Rather UPA Government has worked more on black money compared to NDA Government.

About Lokpal bill P.Chidambaram explained that Government is in support for Lokpal bill but it can't give power of decision to representatives of civil society. From last 6 decades after independence, parliamentary form of democracy is alive above all weaknesses as compared to neighboring countries of India. Civil society can 'suggest' but should not 'decide'. If civil society is has given all powers demanded in Lokpall bill than there'll be danger to our constitutional democracy.

Media is defiantly going make hype of this issues because it constitute dominated place in civil society additionally it gives nice business. Now, its up to Indians decide whether they want their representative to decide their fate or institutions like media and NGOs to decide their destiny, whether Indian wants Nationalists or Religious public figures in assembly.

Corruption is devil within us. It's not all about money, it's about values and it's about our day to day conduct. Blaming someone or system it's not a solution. Corrupt systems have been survived because we supported it for our short term gains. Will you be able to let go your short term gain against corrupt process?? If yes then you are real rebel.

FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION, NOT AGAINST GOVERNMENT
